There are five double rooms in the haystack for up to 15 people. Each room has a kitchenette, TV, wifi, sitting area and private bathroom with bath and/or shower plus toilet. In the immediate vicinity there are bike/walking trails and the location right on the water offers the possibility of a whisper boat ride. Edam/Volendam/Marken and Amsterdam within cycling distance!

Wij, Piet en Paula Kalverboer, hebben naast onze B&B/Groepsaccommodatie een melkveehouderijbedrijf. Piet is elke dag in de stal te vinden om zijn koeien te melken en te voeren. In het voorjaar is het een drukte met de lammeren die geboren worden. Verder maakt hij muziek bij de Gouwzeekapel waar hij de grote trom speelt.
Paula is aktief in het bestuur van Hotel de Boerenkamer en heeft als hobby zwemmen en gym. Zij houdt de boekhouding van het hele bedrijf bij en heeft de zorg voor drie (bijna volwassen) kinderen.
